The Career Centers have been established to help the people of Alabama obtain jobs they are qualified to do; or
if not qualified for the job, then job training may be available. And if someone loses their job the Center can help with
Unemployment Compensation forms and other paper work. Veterans can receive help through their Veteran's Specialist program.
They have the help that's needed - for those getting their first job to those finishing up their last job.
They have the resources for every step in getting that new job. Each Career Center will have computers, faxes,
telephones, copiers, instruction material, guidance and contacts for whatever the situation may be. Here is a short description
of services provided in their offices:
"Each center provides career counseling, resume assistance, direct job      placement, classroom
and on-the-job training and information
about local
and national labor markets and unemployment compensation."
You really have to visit them to see how many ways they can help and what all they can do.
